I was trying to work out what this reminded me of (in a good way) and then it struck me....National Health from the late '70s with Amanda Parsons, Dave Stewart, Phil Miller et al, but brought right up to date! Saw Camila Meza in 2019 with Becca Stevens (who's sung on one of Dayna's albums) & Lizz Wright with the Metropole Orkestre - excellent, as is this album!
